The books arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was in a state of shock. It came in a rush as we were making breakfast and the phone went off.
The REO called asking us where were and we were like....errrrm books??? What!!
They'd arrived just in time for the library opening ceremony, but it would definitely be a rush.
There was just the three of us helping to unpack all the boxes from the lorry.
The men who were supposed to be helping really weren't much help at all; really slow. I swear we moved far more boxes than they did.
We
were worried that the library boxes wouldn't be unpacked in time for
the ceremony so the arrival of the others, though greatly delayed, was
definitely a bonus.With all the boxes packed we headed off to the library ready for the ceremony and what an incredible celebration! To have it all completed as well.
The school had laid on a number of speeches, songs and dances and even a drama about the meaning of library and what a library was.
The school looked amazing and they even presented us with gifts.
It was a wonderful thank you and send off and we were so thankful for the way thinks turned out.
We spent the evening at the beach and in turn headed off for food at the Lake Hotel - some amazing Chip omelettes and chips followed by chocolate.
A perfect day
